Lot description

Base and shade in polished, shiny cast aluminium and shaft formed by two parallel stainless steel rods attached to the base and stabilised at the top by a plastic piece.
The 'Regina' lamp, designed by Jorge Pensi, stands out for its pioneering use of halogen lighting in Spain.
It features a cast aluminium shade that focuses the beam of light and an innovative sliding movement system, using the rods as electrical conductors.
Its design combines ambient lighting and adjustable light for reading, without the need for joints.
The piece was awarded the Delta de Plata award by the ADI FAD in 1988 (Barcelona) and the first lighting award by the Space&Neocon Show in 1988 (Chicago).
