Lot description

Set comprising a choker, earrings and a brooch, made in embossed 18kt gold and decorated with oval and pear cut citrines.
Choker: made up of 31 faceted oval cut citrines, with three pear cut citrines of different carats. It has a hidden box clasp. Length when open: 48 cm.
Earrings: long design, each one with six oval and pear cut citrines. Dimensions: 59 × 28 mm. Screw clasp.
Brooch: decorated with three oval cut citrines and two pear cut citrines. Dimensions: 59 × 31 mm.
With custom-made box.
A set representative of the highly ornamental jewellery of the Mary Christine Regency period, in the midst of the transition to Elizabethan taste, which is characterised by profuse floral decoration and elaborate metalwork.
