Lot description
Oil on canvas.
Although the image, as we know it today, is a representation made by Blessed Antonio Baldinucci circa 1719-21 based on Our Lady of the Holm of Pratto, it was widely represented in Mexico, as Baldinucci created it to accompany him on his missions to convert the faithful.
The paint layer is visibly deteriorated and has been treated.
