Lot description

Walnut wood, and interior of the drawers in pine wood. Parallelepiped body with a flat top lid and a front door, with panels decorated by chiselling. Hinged lid, which protrudes from the body with dust flaps at each end.
The front has three horizontally arranged panels separated by mouldings. Above the panels there is a frieze that includes metopes with chiselled carvings of plant motifs. The escutcheon is centred on the upper frieze. The right-hand panel gives access to a door that conceals two drawers with knob handles. The sides are decorated with two panels adorned with three arches in applied carving. A plinth with a mixed moulding runs around the lower part of the body above the claw feet.
Wear and tear and holes caused by apparently inactive woodworm. Moisture marks.
