Lot description
Structure in pine wood and surface in fine woods such as walnut root, yew root and rosewood, among others. Escutcheons and handles in brass and gilded metal.
Chest of drawers with a sinuous profile organised with three longitudinal drawers on the front with visible crosspieces, decorated with a set of veneers and marquetry in various woods. The top is covered in marquetry of geometric composition, which is repeated on the marquetry decoration on the sides. The drawer fronts are inlaid with parquetry, with a central escutcheon and handles arranged equidistantly to the centre. Structure and drawer interiors in pine wood. The chest of drawers stands on bracket legs.
The surface of the varnish finish is evenly damaged, and the marquetry has some defects. Fragments of the marquetry are attached separately.
