Mercury-gilded bronze. Enamelled dial with Roman numerals.
Paris movement.
Signed ‘Leroy Palais Royal’.
Depicting a female figure in classical dress, probably personifying the muses, and Cupid with his usual attributes, a bow and a flaming torch. The set rests on a rectangular base with a scene of a declaration of love in relief.
It requires revision, as at the time of cataloguing it was not in working order.
Key and pendulum included.
