Lot description

Polychrome, gilded and enamelled porcelain.
They depict a Chinese couple seated and laughing, cross-legged, wearing tunics decorated with floral patterns and red and yellow shoes respectively. Their heads, tongues and hands are movable.
Porcelain with coloured paint and gilt decoration.
Metal mount with lead weight and wire.
One of them marked with crossed blue swords and a star indicating that it may be from the Marcolini period, 1774-1814.
