Medal depicting the personification of the Republic on the rising sun, signed "Louis Bottée".
Louis-Alexandre Bottée was a French sculptor (1852-1941) specialised in the art of medals.
Framed.
5.5 cms. diam. medal, 11.5 x 5.3 cms. medal and 30 x 15 cms. with frame.
A medal with the same iconography is kept in the Mnac (Museu Nacional d'Art de Catalunya) with number: 058501-N.
