On the back, a partially legible inscription, probably from the text of the book it illustrated: "pero da la casualidad que el décimo salió premiado (...) envidia al pariente". It is probably one of the illustrations Barradas made for stories published by Editorial Muntañola, where his friend Joan d'Ivori also collaborated and to whom he gave it as a gift.
Provenance: descendants of the artist Joan d'Ivori.
